Meet the Ambulance Crew

When emergencies happen, the ambulance crew is there to provide critical care and transport patients to the hospital. But who are the members of this lifesaving team, and what do they do? Let’s take a closer look at the ambulance crew and their vital roles. With DRIVEN’s ambulance toys, your kids can embark on their own rescue missions!

The Paramedic

Paramedics are highly trained medical professionals who provide advanced emergency care. They perform life-saving procedures, and keep patients stable while transport. Paramedics must always stay cool under pressure and act quickly to save lives. Children can simulate these crucial tasks with the R/C Midrange Ambulance, using the remote control to rush to the scene!

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

EMTs provide basic emergency medical care and assist paramedics. They are skilled in CPR, wound treatment, and patient assessment. EMTs work quickly to ensure that patients receive immediate care. The Micro Ambulance with its detachable stretcher allows kids to role-play as EMTs, providing first aid and transporting patients safely.

Set up a scenario where a toy figure needs emergency care. Using the Micro Ambulance, kids can practice assessing the patient, providing first aid, and safely transporting them to a designated “hospital” area. This activity teaches the importance of quick response and proper care during emergencies.

The Driver

The ambulance driver is responsible for getting the crew and the patient to the hospital safely and swiftly. They navigate through traffic and ensure a smooth ride for the patient. With the R/C Midrange Ambulance, kids can take control and steer the vehicle, practicing their driving skills and learning the importance of a safe and quick response.

Create an obstacle course with everyday items to simulate the challenges an ambulance driver might face. Children can navigate their R/C Midrange Ambulance through the course, honing their coordination and problem-solving skills. Add in elements like a busy intersection (made with toy cars) or a narrow alleyway to make it more challenging.

The Communication Officer

The Support Crew

This role involves managing all the medical equipment and supplies in the ambulance. The equipment specialist ensures that everything is in working order and ready for use during emergencies. The Micro Ambulance with its opening doors allows kids to explore the inside of the ambulance, arranging and managing the medical supplies.

Teach kids about the importance of emergency preparedness through a fun drill. Set up different emergency scenarios using toy figures and instruct the children to respond using their Micro Ambulance. They can practice loading the stretcher, checking vital signs, and transporting the patient to safety. This activity reinforces the importance of being prepared and acting quickly in an emergency.

Communication officers handle all the radio traffic and ensure that the ambulance crew has the latest information about any emergency. They coordinate with hospitals and other emergency services to stay updated while on the go! While playing with DRIVEN ambulances, kids can imagine communicating with the command center and coordinating their rescue efforts.

Combining fun with learning is easy with DRIVEN’s ambulance toys, providing hours of imaginative play but also teach valuable lessons about teamwork, quick thinking, and the importance of helping others.

Whether it’s the remote-controlled excitement of the R/C Midrange Ambulance or the hands-on fun with the Micro Ambulance, DRIVEN toys are designed to inspire the next generation of lifesavers.

So, let your children’s imaginations run wild as they recreate the daring rescues and critical care missions of real-life paramedics and EMTs. Happy rescuing!
