The field stretched out before them and with all their furry heads bowed, they began hunting for lucky clovers. To pass the time they sang songs and played eye spy games and only stopped when someone would call out, “I think I got one!!” And all would run over to investigate.
As the sun got lower in the sky, the Wagadoodles and DaintyPaws stretched out on the grass to relax. Grandpa Rupert returned to pick them up and found his three furry heads were now five furry heads!
“So! How did it go? Any luck finding luck?!” Rupert said,
“We found seven!!” sang out Piper.
Before parting ways, Piper, Ziggy and Sady gave one four–leaf clover each to Scoot and Spark. They decided to meet up again the next day for a game of Double Dutch. They had been so busy searching the field – no one did any skipping. And as luck would have it, the DaintyPaws loved skipping too.
