Famileez of the Month: The Healthnuggle Bears

Li’l Woodzeez is celebrating its 15th anniversary! Each month of this year, we’ll be taking a closer look at one chosen family and recognizing all the things that make it special. We want to give a big round of applause to all the wonderful Famileez that make up our beloved town of Honeysuckle Hollow!

This November, let’s give a big round of ap-paws for Honeysuckle Hollow’s physicians: the Healthnuggle Bears!

Meet Mom Dr. Barbara, Dad Dr. Todd, little girl Hazel, and baby boy Romeo. They run the Healing Paws Health Center, where Li’l Woodzeez come to get their booboos and snuffles healed. No matter how sick someone might be—they’re ready to help! The Healthnuggles are caring, sympathetic bears who make all their patients giggle and feel that they are in good hands. (Or paws, that is!)

Fun Facts About the Healthnuggle Bears

  • Best in Bear Hugs: While Dr. Barbara is an experienced physician with tons of research under her belt, she believes that bear hugs will cure just about anything.
  • Gone Fishin’: Dr. Todd goes fishing on some weekends and keeps a fishing journal to record all the fish he’s caught. Hazel adds stickers!
  • Like Bees to the Honey: The Healthnuggles always keep a jar of honey both at home and at the clinic. A li’l spoonful in a cup of tea is great for sore throats!
  • Cozy Cabin Life: The Healtnuggles love to spend their holidays and winter weekends at their cabin in the woods. There, they take loooong naps!
  • Pro Swimmer: Baby Romeo loves to play in the water. In the summer, the Healthnuggles spend every afternoon at the beach!
