April 23, 2025

The Glitter Girls have been basking in the sun and enjoying the fresh air as much as possible! Spring is the perfect time of year for new, lively routines that make you feel your best. To celebrate springtime joy, we’ve come up with 3 new play ideas!

GG play prompts jumpstart sparkling adventures by giving kids a place to begin – the ending is up to them and their imaginations!

Lemonade with Pixie

The Play Idea

Pixie spends all winter waiting for spring blooms and April sunshine! She’s ready to go with her lemonade stand as soon as the snow melts. Her besties Candice and Astrid always make sure to stop by and grab a refreshing glass of citrusy goodness!

What Kids Can Learn

This play shop idea is guaranteed to get kids excited about the warm weather! By getting their dolls set up and ready to socialize with each other, kids can practice responsibility and friendship while gearing up for a lemonade stand of their own. Play food activities offer kids a great sensory experience and allow them to participate in the daily caretaking practices their parents do for them!

Spring Cleaning

The Play Idea

Odessa and Lacy are motivating each other to do some good old fashioned spring cleaning! They’re each tackling a room of the house to get into tip top shape so they can feel their best in sparkling clean spaces. Check out our GG Spring Cleaning Checklist for more details.

What Kids Can Learn

By being a part of getting the house organized and tidy, kids can take stock of their favorite toys and participate in looking after their favorite things. This is a great opportunity to teach the value of material objects and help kids understand how to take care of their favorite things, so they last longer!

Grooming Fuzzy Friends

The Play Idea

Lara loves to get her puppy Wiggles ready for the sunny season with a spa makeover! Lara will brush Wiggles’ fur, clip and paint her nails, and even get her dressed in a stylish bandana. When she’s all done, Duckie will come over and they’ll take Wiggles for a walk. Glitter Girls knows that whether you’re a pup, doll, or little one, looking your best helps you feel good inside and out!

What Kids Can Learn

Looking after their furry pal will help nurture compassion and empathy in your little ones. By incorporating a hygiene routine into playtime, kids will learn to feel positive about their own daily schedule and can look forward to giving themselves some self-care and love!
